War and aftermath, longing, despair and defiance. Ever-familiar stories we tell about and to ourselves. Nine paintings were created in dialogue with nine prose poems by Jeffrey Katz to reframe these stories. The images are intended not to illustrate but to intervene in the texts—and the texts to ring through the images. The collaboration was published in the online chapbook series by Metambesen in 2019 and here as a series of broadsides—original archival digital prints.
